Jennifer’s Recommendations Round 2!
Here’s more information about the products I sent you samples of! Scroll down to see my advice for figuring out a routine while your skin has been dry, that’s in italics.
(You can use these links to buy all the products and learn even more about them. Please note that the Beautycounter products are my consultant links, but I am not affiliated with the other products, so they are just regular links to buy online.)
CLEANSERS
Beautycounter Cococream Cleanser (You should be able to get 2-3 uses out of this sample packet. This is what I like to use in the mornings, I think it’s even more hydrating than plain water!)
Beautycounter Refresh Foaming Cleanser (This cleanser is the most gentle foaming cleanser I’ve used, it’s similar to the one by Acure I think. You should be able to get 3-4 uses out of the packet.)
Beautycounter Clear Pore Cleanser (This is the foamiest of all the cleansers I sent you, and it does have some scrubby beads, but honestly with how little you need, I don’t really see it as much of an exfoliant. You can probably get 5 uses out of this.)
Acure Beauty Green Juice Cleanser (You should be able to get 2-3 uses out of this bagie. The link is to their site, but you can also buy this at Target or Amazon.)
SERUMS (Please note that all the Beautycounter Serums contain Hyaluronic Acid which for some people is super hydrating and wonderful, but for me it’s a troublesome ingredient, so it’s hard to share my experience with them. Most people love the serums though!)
Beautycounter Intense Moisture Serum (This serum has two molecular weights of hyaluronic acid, which help it penetrate even deeper into skin. You should be able to get 4 uses out of the packet.)
Beautycounter Vitamin C Serum (This serum is bright yellow! Be warned, great for brightening. You should be able to get 4 uses out of the packet.)
Beautycounter Tripeptide Radiance Serum (This one contains bakuchiol, a natural alternative to retinol! You should be able to get 4 uses out of the packet.)
Cocokind Ceramide Serum (This stuff is my go to every single day! It helps to repair your skin barrier and is very gentle. You should be able to get 5 uses at least out of this baggie.)
Cocokind Acne Serum (This is a very gentle and non drying way to use salicylic acid into your routine for acne! I’d start out using it only every other day. You should be able to get 5 uses at least out of this baggie.)
MOISTURIZERS
Beautycounter Adaptive Moisture Lotion (This is the first moisturizer that actually ever worked for me without having to slather on a ton and it’s not greasy at all! You should be able to get 2-3 uses out of a packet.)
Beautycounter Recovery Sleeping Cream (This is the “night cream” from the same line of the Adaptive Moisture Lotion. This does contain hyaluronic acid, so it’s not my favorite, but if your skin likes the Beautycounter serums then you’ll most likely love this cream! You should be able to get 3 uses out of the packet.)
Beautycounter Cocoboost Moisturizer (This is the least dewy of all the moisturizers Beautycounter has and is very gentle, it’s meant to be like a clean version of Cerave or Cetaphil. I have used this during summer and like it! Again, you should be able to get 3 or so uses.)
OTHER
Beautycounter Hydrating Mineral Essence (This is one of my favorites, it’s a super hydrating toner with anti-aging bakuchiol and I use it every morning after cleansing, and the nights I do not use the Triple Acid Toner. You should be able to get 3-4 uses out of this packet.)
Beautycounter Bamboobuff Polish (This is one of my new favorite products, it’s basically a dry scrub that you add to whatever your favorite cleanser is. A little goes a LONG way, start small. This baggie should give you at least 10 uses, and I’d use it every third day at most to start.)
ROUTINES:
Because we’re really just trying to figure out your normal go-to routine and not using many actives I think the best place to start is the most hydrating routine and work backwards till you find what your skin likes.
For your first routine I’d start with this morning and night:
Cococream Cleanser
Mineral Essence
Ceramide Serum
Adaptive Moisture Lotion or Overnight Sleeping Cream
If this works you can stick with it, or try swapping the nighttime cleanser for one of the more foamy ones if you feel you’re not “clean” enough.
If the moisturizers feel too heavy at morning or night, you can then try the Cocoboost moisturizer.
Serums will be the area where you can experiment the most, and it depends on your goals. The ceramide serum works well for everyone, so the next one I would incorporate is the Acne serum at night instead of the Ceramide serum, only every other day to start.
I know I included a lot of serums, and I’d advise trying the Beautycounter serums during daytime. If you’re looking for anti-aging, try the Tripeptide serum, if you want spot correction, try the Vitamin C serum, if you want weightless moisture, try the Intense Moisture serum! You’d swap these out for the ceramide serum during daytime.

CLEANSERS
Beautycounter Cococream Cleanser (You should be able to get 2-3 uses out of this sample packet. This is what I like to use in the mornings, I think it’s even more hydrating than plain water!)
Acure Beauty Green Juice Cleanser (You should be able to get 2-3 uses out of this sample jar. The link is to their site, but you can also buy this at Target or Amazon.)
CHEMICAL EXFOLIANTS (Please note that both these products will sting a bit because they are basically very mild chemical peels. The sting will wear off after 15 min or so.)
Beautycounter Triple Acid Toner (This is the gentler of the two and also my preferred chemical exfoliant. I put this in a small dropper bottle and you will use 5-6 drops of this toner after cleansing at night, but before your serum. This can be used every other night to start, and you can eventually build up to daily use.)
Beautycounter Overnight Resurfacing Peel (This is the more intense of the two, and should only be used every other night even once your skin has adapted. I’d start with every third night. You should be able to get 3-4 uses out of this sample packet, and you use this at night in place of your other serum.)
SUNSCREENS
All Good Sunscreen (I included samples of both the tinted and non-tinted versions. Feel free to mix the two to get the right shade, you should be able to get 2 uses out of each jar. This sunscreen is less moisturizing than the next one, so you most likely will need a moisturizer underneath. The link is to the tinted version on their site, but you can buy it on Amazon as well.)
Beautycounter Dew Skin Tinted Moisturizer (This is a very long wearing tinted spf moisturizer and could even take the place of your daytime lotion depending on how dry your skin is. I included extras of the shades I think you might be, one dot is one full use.)
OTHER
Beautycounter Hydrating Mineral Essence (This is one of my favorites, it’s a super hydrating toner with anti-aging bakuchiol and I use it every morning after cleansing, and the nights I do not use the Triple Acid Toner. You should be able to get 3-4 uses out of this packet.)
Beautycounter Adaptive Moisture Lotion (This is the first moisturizer that actually ever worked for me without having to slather on a ton and it’s not greasy at all! You should be able to get 2-3 uses out of a packet.)
Beautycounter Supreme Cream (This is what I use at nighttime, but you can always try it during daytime too if you’re feeling dry! You can get 2-3 uses out of the packet.)
