Alexis’s Skincare Recommendations
Here’s more information about the products I sent you samples of for your sensitive and dry but acneic skin! If you scroll down to the bottom, you’ll find some sample routines with these products.
(You can use these links to buy all the products and learn even more about them. Please note that the Beautycounter products are my consultant links, but I am not affiliated with the other products, so they are just regular links to buy online.)
CLEANSERS
Beautycounter Cococream Cleanser (You should be able to get 2-3 uses out of this sample packet. This is what I like to use in the mornings, I think it’s even more hydrating than plain water!)
Beautycounter Cleansing Balm (This cleanser doesn’t work like normal cleansers! Cleansing is this manner is what has saved my duper dry and sensitive skin. At the end of the day, you]’ll massage this onto your dry face, makeup and all! Once you’ve broken down your makeup, take a warm wet washcloth and wipe the balm off. Afetr wiping the balm off, you can either go right into the rest of your skincare, or you can do a second cleanse with the Cococream cleanser. Up to you! This cleansing method doesn’t strip your skin of what it needs to stay healthy. You should be able to get 4-5 uses out of the packet.)
TONER
Beautycounter Hydrating Mineral Essence (This is one of my favorites, it’s a super hydrating toner that I pat onto my skin after cleansing. No need to use with with a cotton round. You should be able to get 3-4 uses out of this packet.)
SERUMS
Cocokind Ceramide Serum (I’d start with this serum, it’s my go to every single day! It helps to repair your skin barrier and is very gentle. You should be able to get 5 uses at least out of this baggie.)
Cocokind Acne Serum (This is a very gentle and non drying way to use salicylic acid into your routine for acne! I’d start out using it only every other day, at night. You should be able to get 5 uses at least out of this baggie.)
Beautycounter Intense Moisture Serum (This serum has two molecular weights of hyaluronic acid, which help it penetrate even deeper into skin. You should be able to get 4 uses out of the packet.)
MOISTURIZERS
Beautycounter Cocoboost Moisturizer (This is the least dewy of all the moisturizers Beautycounter has and is very gentle, it’s meant to be like a clean version of Cerave or Cetaphil. I have used this during summer and like it! Again, you should be able to get 3 or so uses.)
Beautycounter Adaptive Moisture Lotion (This is the first moisturizer that actually ever worked for me without having to slather on a ton and it’s not greasy at all! You should be able to get 2-3 uses out of a packet.)
Beautycounter Soft Cream (This moisturizer can be used day or night and has special plant extracts that help to improve the strength of your skin, very important for eczema! You can get 3-4 uses out of the packet.)
Beautycounter Supreme Cream (This cream is a thicker version of Soft Cream, but again can be used morning or night, just depends on your skin! You can get 3-4 uses out of the packet.)
OTHER
Beautycounter Bamboobuff Polish (This is one of my new favorite products, it’s basically a dry scrub that you add to whatever your favorite cleanser is. You could add this to both the cleansing balm or the cream cleanser. A little goes a LONG way, start small. This baggie should give you at least 10 uses, and I’d use it every third day at most to start.)
All Good Facial sunscreen (When you’re young, the most important things to care about are hydration and sun protection! This is a very lightweight sunscreen and feels pretty weightless I think! You should be able to get
